We strive for the perfect combination of formality and fun! Providing well-spoken professional announcing (only as needed), keeping the day flowing according to your planned timeline & agenda, and of course PACKING THE DANCE FLOOR!
You can expect your favorite music, never a cookie-cutter wedding playlist, and NO cheesy “game show” or “radio DJ” announcing. Yikes!
YOUR FAVORITE MUSIC
We believe the more your personality is woven into the music at your wedding, the more it becomes FUN and unforgettable! Whether it’s the song that played during your first kiss, bar songs from your college days, or special dedications to your loved ones… Your wedding music should be YOU, and not a canned list of cheesy wedding songs.
Our music library is vast. Based on your own Requests and Do-not-play list, we’ll fill in the blanks and cater directly to your personal tastes. You have as much control over most of the music as you wish! Your wedding should be YOUR wedding.
BOUTIQUE STYLE SERVICE
Your wedding is a once in a lifetime celebration, with no second chances to get it right.
We give our full attention to just one wedding per date. Unlike a “McWedding” DJ company, serving up several weddings at a time, quality control is a top priority for us. Your wedding will be our sole focus. We’ll hold your hand through the planning process, and ensure that on your wedding day, your wishes are carried out according to plan.
Your point of contact from day one, and throughout planning, is the very same person. No surprises, NO Sub-contracted DJs!
PLANNING PERFECTION
Whether you’re planning your Chicago wedding from out of town, or down the road, it doesn’t have to be a dreadful task.
As soon as you give us the green light, the very first thing we do is create an Online Client Tools account you can log into and immediately begin planning your big day!
Plan your celebration with great detail. Select any traditional or non-traditional formalities to be included or excluded, add songs to your Request and Do-Not-Play lists, Plan your timeline/agenda and more.
THE MICROPHONE
The Zen philosophy on MCing and making announcements at your wedding is summed up in one word: Purpose. If there isn’t a specific purpose to inform your guests of something important, we won’t be on the microphone interrupting the fun. We believe less is more. You obviously want someone well-spoken and confident for important announcements- but it’s our opinion that the role of MC, is to facilitate the moment, then let it breathe. Your guests didn’t come to your wedding to see the DJ or MC.
WEDDING DJ SERVICE OFFERINGS INCLUDE
- A talented Mix DJ and well-spoken MC to provide music and announcing (2 person DJ-MC team, as needed). We’ll work closely with you to customize a sound track for your wedding that is uniquely YOU.
- Stunning, beautiful sound with our state-of-the-art Bose & EV digital sound systems, custom tailored in size to your wedding.
- Wireless microphones for important toasts, speeches and ceremonies.
- Modern dance lighting. Our versatile lighting is effective and tasteful. Make your dance-floor more inviting without cluttering the decor.
- Online client-tools account to create & update anytime- your personalized music playlist(s), wedding timeline, formalities & more. We’ll also provide copies of your timeline to your other wedding professionals; your photographer, caterer, etc.
- Meet face-to-face and plan with the DJ who’ll be atyour wedding to ensure your vision is at the forefront via video service. No surprises.
